Prime Minister Denis Shmygal arrived on a visit to Odessa, which was attacked by Russian aggressors the previous day. He wrote about it on Telegram on Friday, November 8.

According to Shmygal, an investigative team has already worked in the area. Today, employees of the institution, parents and concerned citizens, workers of housing and community services, and charitable organizations work there.
He mentioned that the government is paying attention to the issue of fixing school shelters. More than UAH 500 million has been allocated for these events in the Odessa region this year.
The head of the government also recognized the work of the energy facilities, heard information about the arrangement of the third level of engineering protection and the need for financing.
“We fixed the timing of the project, we also visited the heat generation facility, discussed the issues of its modernization and operation this winter,” added Shmygal.
He recalled that the government has allocated billions of hryvnia this year for the restoration and protection of the energy system. And to get through this winter with confidence and stability, the coordination of the government and local authorities is needed. All OVA managers were given clear tasks and those responsible for their implementation.
