The night air raid warning in Kyiv lasted from 0.13 to 8.13.
After an eight-hour air raid, crowds of people formed in the capital’s metro.
The Kyiv City State Administration said that the metro is resuming passenger transportation as usual, in particular, on ground sections that are not operating during the alarm for security reasons.
Ground stations of the Red Line open after the air raid warning is lifted and depending on the trains leaving the electric depot. Stations open approximately 10 minutes before the arrival of the first train to avoid crowding of passengers on the platforms and, as a result, possible injury to them on the metro tracks.
The Kyiv City State Administration recalled that employees of the electrical depot are also in shelter during an air raid. Today, after its completion, the night shift specialists immediately returned to their workplaces and ensured the issuance of rolling stock in accordance with the available number of drivers.
As of 9:00 on November 7, trains run at the following intervals: “red” line – 5-6 minutes, “blue”, “green” – 10 minutes. From 9:10 there will be regular intervals on all lines – about 3 minutes.
