Soldiers of the 47th separate mechanized brigade captured a Russian soldier from the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet in the Kursk region – according to him, he witnessed the execution of Defense Forces soldiers.
Pitkevich has quite a long combat experience. In October 2022, while serving his sentence in one of the Russian colonies, he agreed to sign a contract with the private military company Wagner. As part of PIK units, it participated in assault operations in the settlements of Soledar and Bakhmut. In June 2023, he took part in the “campaign” against Moscow, which was then organized by the leader of the Wagner PPK.
In June of this year, he signed a new contract and entered service in the 155th Russian Marine Brigade. In August, when the brigade was transferred to the Kursk region, he took direct part in the hostilities as an assistant grenade launcher.
At the end of September, near the village of Glushkovo, I witnessed the murder of two Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to him, the order for the execution and subsequent cutting off the heads from the bodies was given by the unit commander.
The prisoner of war named his name, as well as the names of the fighters who were the direct perpetrators of this war crime.
According to intelligence reports, currently the 155th separate marine brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet has suffered very significant losses in the Kursk region, which is why the unit’s personnel often leave combat positions and refuse to carry out orders.
