The Ukrainian leader will arrive in Budapest on November 7 to participate in the summit of the European Political Community.
President Vladimir Zelensky announced his visit to Budapest on Thursday to participate in the summit of the European Political Community. The head of state said this in an evening video message on Wednesday, November 6.
“Tomorrow I will be in Budapest – at the summit of the European Political Community at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Hungarian Presidency of the European Council, Viktor Orban, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel fifth summit in this format,” said the Ukrainian leader .
Zelensky recalled that the first informal EU Summit was in the Czech Republic, the second in Moldova, then in Spain and the UK.
The President thanked Hungary for the invitation.
“And we will discuss security challenges in Europe, as well as new opportunities for all partners. There will be a series of meetings, a series of agreements with European leaders,” said the head of state .
Let’s recall that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election, announced the need for a new European approach towards Ukraine.
