Preliminary results of the US election on the morning of November 6 indicate that Republican candidate Donald Trump may win.
So far, Trump receives 246 votes, while Democratic representative Kamala Harris receives 210 voters. But the counting of votes continues and the situation may change dramatically. To win the presidential election, candidates need the support of 270 voters. This is evidenced by calculations by the Associated Press and the DeepState monitoring project.
In particular, Harris won in densely populated California and Washington state. This immediately brought her 66 votes. In addition, preliminary results indicate Harris’ victory in Oregon, New Mexico, and Virginia.
Trump won big states like Texas and Florida. In the so-called swing states that will determine the outcome of this election, Trump has an advantage in six of the seven states. Thus, North Carolina and Georgia brought the Republican Party representative 16 votes each.
The New York Times estimates that Trump has an 89% chance of winning. And the Washington Post projects Trump with 235 to 327 Electoral College votes, while Harris gets 211 to 303.
Let us remind you that AP reported that in 14 counties of the key state of Pennsylvania, 4 thousand 300 votes of voters who voted in the US presidential election from abroad were appealed. This may affect the results.
