Ukraine and the world must do everything to ensure that the military involvement of the DPRK on the side of Russia will be a lost step for both the Kremlin and North Korea. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an evening video message on Tuesday, November 5.
“Fear, unfortunately, can spread like a virus when it is not met with sufficient counteraction. Now the counteraction must be sufficient. Strong enough. The first skirmishes with North Korean soldiers opened a new page of instability in the world. We must, together with the world, do everything to ensure that this step of Russia to expand the war, in real growth, so that this step of his (Putin – ed .) will be a loser for him and North Korea,” said the head of state. .
At the same time, the president thanked everyone in the world who responded to the appearance of North Korean soldiers in Russia, as well as those who are preparing retaliatory actions in support of our defense here in Ukraine.
We remind you that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov confirmed the information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces went to war with North Korean troops for the first time after the DPRK sent its forces to help Russia.
Earlier on Tuesday, the media reported, citing sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate, that the first military clash between Ukrainian fighters and the North Korean military has already taken place on the territory of the Kursk region.
