Moscow is examining measures that could be effective to resolve the “illegal situation,” Dmitry Peskov explained.
Moscow is definitely against the use of Russia’s fixed gold and foreign exchange reserves for Ukraine’s restoration. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on Tuesday, July 5.
“Such actions, of course, are completely illegal. They are contrary to all standards and rules of international law, and Russia is definitely against it,” Peskov said.
He added that Moscow is “examining measures that could be effective in terms of resolving this illegal situation.”
Recall that the recovery plan for Ukraine is estimated at $ 750 billion. Ukrainian authorities expect to use most of Russia’s confiscated property for this.
