The number of North Korean military personnel in the Kursk region has increased.
It is currently known that there are already 11 thousand military personnel of the DPRK army in this front-line region of the aggressor country. Representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Foreign Intelligence Service reported this at the headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on November 4 during an evening video message.
The head of state noted that Western partners have still not responded to the involvement of these troops in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
We see an increase in North Koreans and, unfortunately, we do not see an increase in the reaction of our partners,” said the head of state.
Also, according to him, at Headquarters there was an important issue on air defense, because the Russians use a large number of “Shaheds” and aerial bombs, and this terror is growing every month.
Zelensky noted the importance of strengthening mobile fire groups and introducing the real practice of shooting down “martyrs” with drones. We also need to develop the Defense Forces in such a way that we can finally solve the problem of Russian aerial bombs.
Let us recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense informed that Russia armed the North Korean military with 60-mm mortars, AK-12 assault rifles, RPK/PKM machine guns, SVD/Microwave sniper rifles, Phoenix and RPG- anti-tank missile systems.
