A thousand hryvnia of aid from the state, announced by President Vladimir Zelensky, can be received through Ukrposhta.
Now officials are developing a mechanism for receiving “support” funds – 1 thousand UAH per Ukrainian, through the Ukrposhta branch. This will allow those citizens who do not have access to “Actions” and smartphones to receive assistance. This mechanism will be universal, not selective, so that citizens of all categories throughout the country can receive money. This was reported with reference to the Ministry of Economy.
The department noted that Zelensky’s thousand payments apply not only to adults, but also to children. Yes, one of the parents will be able to order a payment to their account for each of their children.
The Ministry of Economy emphasized that this thousand hryvnia will not be taxed.
Let us remind you that Prime Minister Denis Shmigal recently explained why Ukrainians would be given a thousand hryvnia. According to him, the program of paying 1 thousand UAH to each Ukrainian has three goals: to support vulnerable families in winter, to stimulate demand for Ukrainian services and to demonstrate the unity of society.
