Google “lights up” Ukrainian military systems on maps – CPD

Google representatives contacted the Ukrainian side to resolve the problem with images of the deployment of military systems.

Google has highlighted the location of Ukrainian military systems on maps. This was announced by the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation (CPD) under the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Kovalenko.

“Google is posting updated images on maps showing the location of our military systems (I won’t specify),” he said.

Ukraine contacted the Google office to correct the situation.

Kovalenko later added that Google representatives contacted the Ukrainian side to resolve the problem with images of deployment of military systems.

We remind you that Google representatives met with the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation (CDC) of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andrey Kovalenko and discussed measures to speed up the fight against propaganda on YouTube.
