The aggressor country, Russia, hit Ukraine last week with hundreds of bombs, drones and missiles.
The enemy dropped 900 aerial bombs in different areas, launched almost 500 Shahed-type attack UAVs and about 30 missiles. The majority of these strikes were directed against civilian targets and critical infrastructure. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on November 3 on Facebook.
The head of state noted that all these strikes would have been impossible if we had sufficient support from the world in obvious things. And he emphasized that it is important now not only to allow Ukraine to hit Russia with long-range weapons, but also to tighten sanctions against the aggressor country. The restrictions would prevent the import of critical components for the production of drones and missiles, in particular microelectronics.
“Ukraine deserves the same reliable security as all our other partners in the free world,” Zelensky added.
Let us recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sibiga stated that in two months of autumn Russia launched 3 thousand 239 Shahed-type drones across Ukraine.
During September, the Russian army used 1,331 Shahed UAVs against Ukraine, which is approximately 44 drones per day. And in October, the aggressor attacked Ukraine with 1 thousand 908 “Shaheds”. This is approximately 62 drones per day.
