The Republican candidate’s team is divided: some support Ukraine, and some do not.

Former US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker believes that Donald Trump, if he returns to the White House, will not allow Ukraine to lose the war against the Russian Federation during his tenure. Volker said this at the Kiev Security Forum, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to him, Trump will try to prevent the defeat of Ukraine in the war with the Russian Federation, because he does not want to be responsible for it.

At the same time, Volker noted that Trump’s team is divided: some support Ukraine, and some do not.

Volker also believes that if Kamala Harris wins, the current US President Joe Biden’s policy regarding Ukraine will continue. In his opinion, it is important to prepare for a possible ceasefire by 2025, when NATO strives to keep the Russian Federation from new aggression.

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky commented on US support if Trump wins.
