North Korean soldiers will face problems operating Russian equipment, integration, as well as a language barrier, intelligence officials said.
North Korean soldiers are likely to face problems when participating in combat against the Ukrainian military due to language and experience barriers. This is confirmed by British intelligence data, the report of the British Ministry of Defense in X.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that there are approximately 10 thousand North Korean soldiers on Russian territory. Some – 8 thousand – have already been transferred to the Kursk region.
British intelligence predicts that Russian and North Korean troops will likely struggle to interact because they have never conducted joint military exercises.
“DPRK troops engaged in combat operations will almost certainly face challenges operating Russian equipment, integrating into the Russian command and control structure, and overcoming the language barrier when interacting with Russian troops ,” the intelligence agency added.
As is known, the Chinese authorities do not see any threat in the fact that Russia and North Korea are deepening cooperation, including in the military field.
