The US Department of Defense has announced a new military aid package to Ukraine worth $425 million. The Pentagon press service reported this on Friday, November 1.
The new US military aid package comes under the president’s stockpile reduction authority, which means weapons from US military stockpiles.
The package includes NASAMS and HIMARS ammunition, Stinger missiles, c-UAS mobile missile system, air-to-ground ammunition, 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, TOW anti-tank shells, Javel anti-tank system.
The list also includes Stryker armored personnel carriers, small arms and ammunition, medical equipment, explosive ordnance, spare parts, support equipment, services, training and transportation.
Let’s recall that earlier the United States gave Ukraine a $2.4 billion aid package due to the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
