Domestic systems with artificial intelligence help UAVs reach targets bypassing Russian electronic warfare, Reuters reports.
Ukraine uses dozens of domestic artificial intelligence systems for its drones so they can achieve battlefield objectives without piloting them. It was reported by Reuters.
Systems using artificial intelligence allow drones to detect or fly toward targets in areas protected by powerful electronic warfare.
A Ukrainian official told the news agency that the effectiveness of hitting targets in most first-person view vehicles drops to 30%-50%, while for new pilots this figure can be Only 10%, and the main problem is signal jamming.
AI-controlled first-person drones can achieve a hit rate of around 80%, sources said.
Ukraine also uses interceptor drones to destroy a large number of Russian camera-equipped drones that help launch artillery and missile strikes against Ukrainian targets in the rear.
As we have already written, demonstration tests of new Ukrainian developments – swarms of drones and guided munitions – were recently conducted in Ukraine with the participation of military officials and officers.
