According to the findings of European scientific institutions, the savings from moving the hands of the clock to the availability of the latest technologies are “absolutely insignificant.”

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk is confident that the President of Ukraine will sign the bill abolishing the change of clocks to daylight saving time. The spokesperson announced this in a briefing on Thursday, October 31.

“I think the President of Ukraine will still sign this bill, I don’t see any reason not to sign this bill,” he said.

As you know, on the night of October 27 in Ukraine the clocks were moved back one hour and the country moved into the winter season. This transfer should be the last, because in July the Verkhovna Rada passed a law canceling further transfers. The last word remained with the head of state.

Stefanchuk believes that it will be logical to sign the document after Ukraine has moved into the winter season.

According to the findings of European scientific institutions, the savings from moving the hands of the clock to the availability of the latest technologies are “absolutely insignificant.”

Earlier, the BBC, citing sources, reported that Zelensky does not plan to sign a law that eliminates the change of clocks in winter and summer.

Let us remind you that Ukrainians are seriously opposed to changing the clock. Correspondent.net understood the pros and cons of canceling the clock change in winter and summer.
