The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reported that the new military aid includes, in particular, shells, mortars and generators.
Lithuania gave a new batch of military aid to Ukraine on Wednesday, October 30. We are talking, in particular, about shells, mortars and generators. This was reported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
“Lithuania continues to support Ukraine,” the message said.
The department recalled that in response to requests from Ukraine, Lithuania has already sent this year:
-
155 mm artillery shells,
-
M113 armored personnel carrier,
-
anti-drone system,
-
winter equipment and warm clothes,
-
ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher,
-
RISE-1 remote detonation system,
-
generators,
-
loader,
-
folding bed.
Since the beginning of the great war, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military support worth more than 705 million euros. Lithuania’s general support to Ukraine is long-term and exceeds one billion euros.
We remind you that Lithuania will invest 10 million euros in the production of Ukrainian Palyanitsa missile-drone, following the example of the “Danish model” of direct financing of the manufacturer. The mechanism was discussed by representatives of the defense departments of both countries.
