The Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak met with the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington. OP’s press service reported this on Wednesday, October 30.
It was indicated that this meeting took place as a continuation of the dialogue between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States.
“Andriy Ermak thanked the United States for its continued support and assistance to Ukraine. During the meeting, the Victory Plan, the situation at the front and the frozen assets of Russia were discussed in detail,” the message said.
Other key issues of the negotiations include further strengthening Ukraine’s potential to protect itself from Russian aggression, strengthening the sanctions regime and attracting US diplomatic efforts to implement the Peace Formula to restore a just world for our country.
Special attention during the meeting was paid to Ukraine’s movement towards NATO membership and the corresponding measures for it.
Ermak and Blinken discussed US support for Ukraine’s energy system during the fall-winter period, especially the protection of critical infrastructure.
