There is almost no safe place left on the territory of the Donetsk region where a person would not fear for his life.
In the Donetsk region, it was possible to evacuate all children from the front line. The head of the regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, announced this on Tuesday, October 29, in a telethon.
According to him, the children were brought “from Kurakhovo to the Svetlodar Bulge” thanks to the support of the White Angels and Phoenix police units of the State Emergency Service.
“Men and women risk their own lives every day to help our people,” Filashkin emphasized.
The official noted that some of the children were taken to Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Dobropolye, and Konstantinovka. People were also evacuated in Dnepropetrovsk, Kyiv, Transcarpathian and Lviv regions.
The head of the OBA recalled that at the beginning of the entire invasion, 1.9 million people lived in the region, and now there are 340 thousand.
“Unfortunately, the enemy attacks the region every day with almost no safe place in the Donetsk region,” the official said.
Filashkin added that there are now 111 children left in the Pokrovskaya community (57 in the city itself) and only 12,000 people in the village.
The official emphasized that staying in the city is extremely dangerous, as Pokrovsk is bombarded daily by both guided bombs and FPV drones. There are “major problems” with electricity and water supply there, as the occupiers are not allowing utility workers to repair infrastructure facilities that continue to burn.
Earlier, OVA reported that Russian troops continue to terrorize civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Kharkov region. In the Kupyansky district, the authorities decided to strengthen evacuation measures.
Recently, in the Kharkov region, an evacuation was announced from part of the settlements of the Borovsk community and those near the front line.
We remind you that it was previously announced about the forced evacuation of 269 children from 29 settlements of the Kupyansky district. In the Sumy region, a forced evacuation of 40 thousand people was announced.
