The South China Morning Post says there are nearly 200 former North Korean soldiers currently living in South Korea.
A group of nearly 200 former North Korean soldiers are seeking to travel to Ukraine to use their inside knowledge to psychologically pressure their former countrymen. This was reported by the South China Morning Post.
The media say that each of the deserters who have expressed a desire have seven to ten years of military service behind them.
The former military officers wanted to use their knowledge of the North Korean army to disrupt and demoralize the troops sent to fight in Ukraine, thus putting psychological pressure on them.
The publication says that all those who have expressed a desire live in South Korea.
We remind you that the CNS said that North Korean military personnel are already on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where their combat coordination has begun.
Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin confirmed the presence of North Korean troops in Russia.
