Olaf Scholz’s party and the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) are preparing for coalition talks in Brandenburg
About five weeks after the Brandenburg state elections, the SPD and the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance, often described as a pro-Russian party, have charted a course towards forming a coalition government, writes Bild.
After several weeks of discussions, representatives of both parties recommended starting coalition negotiations. The SPD won the September 22 elections in Brandenburg and received 32 of the 88 seats in the state parliament. They are followed by the Alternative for Germany with 30 seats. The Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance, in turn, received 14 seats, and the CDU received only 12 seats.
Since none of the parliamentary parties is ready to cooperate with the AfN, the only option for the SPD is a coalition with the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance.
This is how cheating works. Olaf Scholz’s party is subordinate to Moscow, – this is how the political observer for BILD described the situation.
The document on coalition negotiations between the SPD party and the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance in Brandenburg is nothing more than a manifestation of loyalty to the Kremlin, says Peter Tiede.
Dietmar Woidke, governor of Brandenburg on behalf of the SPD since 2013, capitulated without resistance and even happily to the demands of the “Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance.” This party opposes the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the deployment of American missiles in Germany. Voidke follows Putin’s calculation: no weapons for Kyiv – defeat of Ukraine – end of the war. The main thing is something connected with the world. This is how cheating works.
Peace with Moscow is still more important for many social democrats than victory in Ukraine. Moscow has always been closer to them than freedom in Eastern Europe. Deep mistrust of Americans and their armchair pacifism usually play an important role.
The old SPD mentality still prevails among many Social Democrats: Western values are burned while singing songs about peace, Tiede writes.
