He stressed that Ukraine defends its territory, and the ideas expressed about territorial concessions in favor of the Russian Federation are catastrophic.
“If you are so generous to Russia, why not give them a piece of your land? Any sovereign country, for example, Russia – on what basis, I ask you, does Russia deserve something – especially foreign territory?” – asked Duda.
Duda expressed confidence that Kyiv can return all occupied territories if it receives the necessary resources.
He also said that Warsaw continues to work on the Eastern Shield project, which will be a new version of the Iron Curtain.
“The system of fortifications on the eastern border, the construction of which will begin soon, is a response to the insatiable Russian imperial plans,” he explained.
Duda added that Poland would easily lift the Iron Curtain if it meant security for its citizens.
