In Lviv, a drunk driver threatened a patrol with a grenade.
On the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway, a citizen witnessed dangerous maneuvers of a truck that created emergency situations and called the police.
Patrol officers caught up with the vehicle and found signs of alcohol intoxication in the 34-year-old driver. The Drager device showed 1.73 ppm. A protocol was drawn up regarding him under Part 1 of Art. 130 KUoAP.
After being informed of his suspension from driving and the confiscation of his driver’s license, the man threatened the police with a grenade and demanded the return of the documents. The patrolmen immediately detained him and called an investigative team.
The grenade initially turned out to be a training grenade, but it was sent for examination.
