Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, signed the law “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on the procedure for military service under contract by foreigners and stateless persons in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service and the National Guard of Ukraine.”
This is indicated in the card of the corresponding bill No. 12023 on the Verkhovna Rada website, where it is indicated that it was returned to parliament with the signature of the president yesterday, October 25.
According to this law, foreigners and stateless persons will have the opportunity to perform military service under contract in officer positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as in the State Special Transport Service and the National Guard. To do this, they will have to undergo a special check at the Foreigners Recruitment Center, the regulations of which will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
