The command of the Russian army ordered its troops not to take Ukrainian soldiers prisoner.
Press officer of the 1st separate tank Seversk brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dina Wong spoke about this on air at the national telethon, Espresso reports.
According to her, in the Kursk direction, where the brigade carries out combat missions, the Russians are undertaking active assault operations using armored vehicles.
The enemy gave its personnel an order not to take Ukrainian military prisoners,” said Wong.
At the same time, she noted that, despite the rather complex operational situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility, the work of the infantry should be noted – the military conscientiously fulfill their duty and firmly hold their positions.
We know that they (the Russians – ed.) are trying to accumulate their infantry. When assault operations begin, we immediately work on enemy personnel and equipment. Each of our operations is a combination of actions of our tankers, artillery, and UAV operators,” she noted.
