The UK is imposing new sanctions against Belarus

From July 5, London will introduce new economic, trade and transport sanctions against Belarus.

Great Britain introduced new sanctions against Belarus. This was reported on the British government website.

It noted that from July 5, London will introduce new economic, trade and transport sanctions.

These include a ban on the import and export of goods worth approximately £ 60 million (about $ 73 million), specifically a ban on the export of refined products; export of advanced technology components, including those used in quantum computing; the export of luxury goods, including British art and designer bags; imports of Belarusian iron and steel.

Britain also restricts Belarus ’access to its financial services sector by banning its companies from issuing debt and securities in London.

Recall that the EU hopes to agree on a seventh package of sanctions against Russia and Belarus by the end of July.

It was also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers has prepared new sanctions against Russia.
