The Israel Defense Forces conducted a special operation against Iran.
On the night of Saturday, October 26, the Israelis launched missile attacks on Iranian military targets. The attack was in response to recent heavy ballistic attacks and other attacks by Iranian-backed forces. The IDF reported this.
In response to months of continuous attacks by the Iranian regime against the State of Israel, the Israel Defense Forces are now conducting targeted strikes against military targets in Iran. Like any other sovereign country in the world, the State of Israel has the right and obligation to respond, the military noted.
According to the Times of Israel, Iranian missile, drone and air defense facilities were attacked.
CBS News, citing its own source, reported that the IDF did not attack Iran’s oil and nuclear facilities and limited itself to only the military.
Tehran announced it had “successfully repelled the attack.” The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the attack caused “limited damage” to Iran.
The Israel Defense Forces have already announced the completion of the operation to retaliate against Iran. The military said that they carried out targeted and precise strikes on military targets in Iran.
Let us recall that on October 19, a kamikaze drone from Lebanon attacked the personal residence of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in Caesarea. There was a direct hit in the building, but the prime minister and his wife were not in the residence at the time of the attack.
