The DPRK military will be used by Russia in combat zones as early as October 27-28.
This is an obvious escalatory step by Russia, which is significant in contrast to all the disinformation that was heard a lot at the BRICS summit in Kazan these days. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on October 25 following the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
The head of state called on world leaders to clearly react and put pressure on Moscow and Pyongyang.
The world can clearly see what Russia really wants, and that is to continue the war. This is why a principled and strong response from world leaders is needed. The actual involvement of North Korea in hostilities should receive a response not in the form of closed eyes and confused comments, but tangible pressure on both Moscow and Pyongyang for the sake of compliance with the UN Charter and punishment for escalation, Zelensky noted.
Syrsky also reported on the situation at the front. The hardest time for Ukrainian defenders is now in the Donetsk region, but the combat brigades are holding their positions and doing everything possible to destroy the invaders.
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces continue to implement the tasks of the command. Zelensky noted that the buffer zone on Russian territory protects Ukraine from Russian attempts to expand the war in the east of the state.
Let us recall that the day before, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense announced that the first military units from the DPRK, trained at the eastern Russian training grounds, had already arrived in the combat zone of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
