A massive drone attack was repelled in Kyiv on the night of October 25.
The night alert in the capital lasted four hours – Shahed-type UAVs from the Kursk region and the Krasnodar Territory entered the city in two large waves. The first time the air raid alert was announced in Kyiv was around midnight, and the second time – at about 3.00. This was stated by the head of the Kyiv city military administration Sergei Popko.
While repelling the air attack, the defenders shot down up to 15 attack drones. Debris fell, in particular, in the Darnytskyi region. This led to a fire in the open area of trees and grass. The fire was extinguished. No casualties were reported.
The head of the KMVA noted that the current air attack on Kyiv by the Russian Federation has already become the 15th since the beginning of October. The enemy used exclusively unmanned aerial vehicles for it.
The head of the Darnitsa Regional State Administration in Kyiv, Nikolai Kalashnik, published a photo of the consequences of falling debris and noted that the fire was insignificant.
Let us remind you that on October 24, the Khmelnytsky region was attacked by enemy Shahed-type UAVs. Eight drones were destroyed by air defense. However, drone debris in Starokonstantinov damaged a residential apartment building, the roof of a hotel, non-residential premises and windows in one of the region’s libraries. Four people were injured, two had to be hospitalized.
