Stockholm is trying to quickly respond to the ever-increasing needs of Ukraine in war conditions.

The Swedish government intends to launch a multi-year program to support the civil sector in Ukraine. The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported this on Thursday, October 24, in connection with the Swedish Ambassador to Ukraine.

We are talking about building second and third level energy infrastructure protection facilities, restoring water supply systems, restoring bridges and roads, building housing for internally displaced people, and providing of communities of solar power plants.

It is indicated that Ukraine receives most of Sweden’s international aid.

“Today this aid constitutes 10% of the country’s budget. We allocate funds for military needs, and also provide aid to the civilian sector. where the energy sector is a priority,” – said Swedish Ambassador Martin Oberg.

He added that business remains a priority.

“We are working on developing tools that will help Swedish entrepreneurs to work well with Ukrainian business.” We also encourage Swedish businessmen to import goods from Ukraine to support the Ukrainian economy.

Sweden joins IT coalition and boosts support for Ukraine. A declaration to this effect was signed by Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson on October 18.
