Beijing continues to insist on resolving the war in Ukraine through negotiations, Lin Jian said.

China seems to have no information about North Korea sending its military to Russia for the war against Ukraine. Chinese Foreign Ministry Speaker Lin Jian said this in a briefing on Thursday, October 24.

So, answering the questions of Yonhap agency reporters whether China believes that the DPRK has sent its troops to the Russian Federation, Lin said: “China has no information about this.”

He added that Beijing continues to insist on a negotiated settlement to the war in Ukraine.

“China’s position on the “Ukraine crisis” (as China calls Russia’s war against Ukraine, – ed..) is consistent and clear. We hope that all parties will contribute to de-escalating the situation and work for a political settlement,” the diplomat added.

Previously, the Chinese Foreign Ministry did not comment on the DPRK’s military presence in Russia. During the briefing, reporters approached Lin Jian about this issue three times to no avail.
