The next step is advanced training in fast jets and F-16 training.
The UK has already trained 200 Ukrainian pilots who will soon fly F-16 fighters. This was announced by the Deputy Secretary of State of the British Parliament for the Armed Forces, Luke Pollard, on the social network H.
“Did you know that the UK has already trained 200 Ukrainian pilots?”
Pollard noted that on October 22 he attended the graduation of the last pilots in the RAF’s training program, who were about to fly the Ukrainian F-16.
He assured that Britain will support Ukraine as long as necessary.
The Royal Air Force (RAF) clarified that the Ukrainians have completed basic flight training. And the next step is the in-depth training of high-speed jets and F-16 training with the help of other partner countries.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny, said that Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots have completed training on British soil and will soon carry out combat missions.
We remind you that in March of this year the first pilots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces graduated in Britain. After that, they moved on to the next stage of preparation in France.
