Poland closes Russian consulate in Poznan

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski noted that Russia is waging a hybrid war and attempting to sabotage Polish territory.

The Russian Consulate General in the city of Poznan is closing. This is what Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said.

According to him, Russia is conducting a hybrid war and trying to sabotage the territory of Poland.

“The decisive reaction is my duty as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. And the closing of the Russian consulate in Poznan is the first step.” said the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

As you know, there are three consulates general of Russia in Poland – in addition to Poznan, in Krakow and Gdansk.

Earlier it was reported that Poland will introduce restrictions on the movement of Russian embassy workers on Polish territory.

Let’s recall that last year, employees of the Polish Internal Security Agency detained six Russian agents who were preparing to sabotage railways.
