Most of the seized money and jewelry was found in the house of her son, a medical school intern. They also found a Russian passport on him. It turned out that the young man obtained citizenship of the aggressor country at the former Russian Consulate General in Odessa before the start of a full-scale war. Also, the head of MSEC registered three undeclared apartments for her son. This was done to hide corrupt money.
The investigation found that during 2015-2023, the head of MSEC noted in her declarations exclusively official income totaling more than UAH 2 million.
In 2023, the official registered the 2nd disability group for herself and her son in order to receive additional benefits and social payments from the state. The issue of the official’s report of suspicion is now being resolved.
