Residents of the city of Efremov in the Tula region reported two explosions. They were five minutes apart.
On the night of Tuesday, October 22, a series of explosions occurred in the Russian city of Efremov in the Tula region. Local residents reported a drone attack that resulted in a fire. The local media wrote about it.
According to Astra, a thermal power plant and a synthetic rubber plant were hit.
Locals said there were several explosions.
As you know, the Efremov synthetic rubber plant produces high and low molecular weight polyisobutylene, polyisobutylene thickeners, low molecular weight rubber and low molecular weight polyisoprene.
The city of Efremov is located at a distance of about 289 km from the Ukrainian border.
According to official information from the governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, two distilleries were damaged.
“The premises of the Efremovsky distillery and distillery in the village of Luzhkovskoye, Suvorovsky district, were damaged, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties at the scene.”
Also, a drone attack on a thermal power plant was reported in the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region.
