A pregnant woman was poisoned by mushrooms in Volyn, her child died.
On October 18, a 26-year-old patient was taken by ambulance to the Volyn Regional Perinatal Center in serious condition. Unfortunately, the child had already died in utero by that time, the institution reported.
The head of the department of anesthesiology and intensive care, Ivan Voroblevsky, said that the woman had tachycardia, shortness of breath, intoxication, and dehydration.
She was immediately hospitalized in intensive care. After intensive treatment, the condition returned to normal and delivery was performed.
According to the woman herself, her husband and godfather collected boletus and Polish mushrooms. A few hours after eating, she felt nauseous, but did not attach any importance to this, because everything was fine with her husband. On the third day, her condition worsened, and then she called an ambulance.
The doctor notes: pregnant women are contraindicated in eating mushrooms.
