The delegation of the aggressor country requested that the next meeting of the UN Security Council be held on October 31 to “condemn” military aid to Ukraine.
The UN Security Council will meet on Monday, October 21, to discuss the security situation in Ukraine. In particular, we will talk about military support for the Russian Federation from North Korea, Iran, and China. This was announced on Sunday, October 20, on the organization’s website.
It was noted that the meeting will take place at the request of the United States and Slovenia. Before this, these countries consulted with the Ukrainian permanent mission.
Assistant Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia and the Americas Miroslav Jenča will report from the UN Secretariat.
It is expected that members of the Security Council will also speak about Vladimir Zelensky’s Victory Plan.
The meeting will start at 15.00 Eastern American time (22.00 Kyiv time).
We remind you that the media previously said that the North Korean authorities sent their special detachment – the DPRK Special Operations Forces – to Russia for the war against Ukraine.
As you know, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, speaking in Brussels, announced 10 thousand military personnel from the DPRK who may be involved in the war.
The head of GUR Budanov says that about 11 thousand North Korean infantrymen are now undergoing combat training in eastern Russia and will be sent to combat positions on November 1.
