A powerful enemy offensive was repelled in the Liman direction.
On the night of Sunday, October 20, the invaders tried to launch a frontal attack on the Ukrainian positions. The enemy deployed two tanks and four combat vehicles with troops. The 63rd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Steel Lions” reported this on Telegram.
First, the artillerymen worked on the enemies and destroyed three Russian “tin cans” with a direct hit. And the real pursuit of the invaders was carried out by UAV operators.
After losses, the Russian occupiers abandoned their equipment and tried to escape from the battlefield. However, Ukrainian defenders did not allow them to do this.
Let us recall that the Russian army tried to seize the crossing over the Oskol River in the Kharkov region in order to expand its offensive on the left bank and in general in the Kupyansk direction. The enemy was opposed by National Guard soldiers, border guards and paratroopers.
During the battle, the defenders destroyed eight infantry fighting vehicles and three tanks. Another six infantry fighting vehicles were hit. The Defense Forces also eliminated 21 occupiers and wounded 26 more.
