The Russian army is led by people who recognize NATO as enemies, and at the end of the war, it is clear that they are “not satisfied with its consequences.”

The commander of NATO forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, suggested that the Russian army would be stronger after the war, regardless of the outcome. He said this in an interview with Der Spiegel.

In particular, Kavali explained that the Russian army is led by people who consider NATO as enemies, and after the war, they are clearly “not satisfied with its consequences.”

“We will have an enemy with real capabilities, mass numbers and clear intentions. So we must be ready and need an armed force that can fight it,” the general emphasized.

The threat comes from Russia, especially because of its flirtations with China and North Korea.

“NATO has to have more capabilities than our adversary. Therefore, we have to quickly fulfill the requirements that come from the defense plans. When I say quickly, I mean we have to be faster than Russians. This is the only way we can stop them,” he added.

Earlier, NATO assessed Russia’s reaction to the events in the Kursk region.

At the same time, Cavoli noted that mobilization in Ukraine is developing more. In particular, progress was achieved by lowering the conscription age to 25 years.
