The movement of North Korean troops into Russia was recorded by a South Korean satellite.
1 thousand 500 special forces soldiers of the DPRK army are already stationed in Vladivostok. The relevant image was taken by a satellite equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR), which can collect weather-independent data using remote sensing systems. This was reported by Yonhap News Agency with reference to the National Intelligence Service of South Korea.
It is noted that Seoul uses several satellites equipped with a search and rescue system, including a military reconnaissance satellite. However, such images are usually classified as military secrets and are not disclosed by the government.
As is known, South Korea is closely monitoring the movement of the DPRK military through satellites controlled by the government and the military, amid growing and deepening cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.
Let us recall that earlier South Korean intelligence stated that North Korea would send 12 thousand troops to Ukraine. The occupiers are already training soldiers from the DPRK at four Russian training grounds – in Khabarovsk, Ussuriysk, Blagoveshchensk, and Vladivostok.
