In Belarus, on the night of today, October 20, another attack drone of the “Shahed” type was shot down.
The event took place in the Yale region bordering Ukraine in the south of the Gomel region.
This was reported by the monitoring Teegram channel “Belarusian Gayun”.
It is noted that on the night of October 20, at least three suicide bombers flew into Belarus from Ukraine. In particular:
- the first entered the area of the border village of Komarin at about 00.38 and flew to Pripyat at about 00.40;
- the next “martyr” flew in from the Zhytomyr region around 01.12 and was moving in the direction of Lelchitsy. A few minutes later he changed course and headed towards Mozyr. At approximately 01.25, the drone was shot down by Belarusian air defense forces over the Yale region. The explosion was heard in several surrounding settlements at once. At that time, a Belarusian fighter that took off from Baranovichi was also over the Gomel region;
- Another UAV that could enter and hide in Belarus could be “Shahed”, spotted in the north of the Kyiv region at about 01.32.
