At the Starokazache checkpoint in the Odessa region, a 43-year-old Chinese citizen tried to bribe a border guard to enter Ukraine freely. The press service of the State Tax Service reported this on Saturday, October 19.
It was noted that during border control the foreigner did not confirm the purpose of his stay on the territory of Ukraine and did not know where he was going.
The man tried to “solve the issue” of crossing the border by offering the inspector $200. The soldier refused the offer.
The border guards sent a message to the National Police about detecting signs of a crime under the article of offering an illegal benefit to an official.
