A large-scale road accident involving 21 vehicles occurred in northern Poland. four people died and 15 were injured. This was reported by RMF FM on Saturday, October 19.
So, late on Friday night, at the exit from the S7 highway to the southern bypass near Gdansk, a truck crashed into cars standing in a traffic jam, dragging them for several hundred meters.
18 cars and three trucks were damaged in the accident. Due to the collision, several vehicles were involved. One of them burned to the ground.
The police have detained the 37-year-old truck driver who caused the accident.
It is indicated that there are many cars on the highway because people are going home after a football match – in Gdansk the local Lechia played against Warsaw Legia.
The previous day, a passenger bus was involved in an accident in Turkey. Then seven people died and 33 others were injured.
