Western countries must react harshly to the North Korean military’s overthrow into Russia.
North Korea is helping Russia wage war against Ukraine with its weapons and people. Pyongyang is not sending mercenaries, but regular troops, which Moscow will use as cannon fodder. In fact, North Korea is invading Europe along with Russia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga wrote about this on the social network X.
The Euro-Atlantic community must wake up to the fact that North Korea is invading Europe along with Russia and act immediately. The Russian Federation is seriously intensifying its aggression, involving the DPRK in the war. We demand an immediate and strong response from the Euro-Atlantic community and the world, the statement said.
Sibiga emphasized that the best reaction from the partners would be full support and implementation of the victory plan initiated by President Vladimir Zelensky.
The minister called on allies to expand military assistance to Ukraine. In particular, this is the lifting of restrictions on long-range strikes with Western weapons deep into Russia and the beginning of the interception of Russian missiles and UAVs over Ukraine.
Sibiga also noted the importance of expanding the invitation to NATO and increasing investment in weapons production in Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the media reported that the occupiers are training soldiers from the DPRK to participate in the war against Ukraine. The exercises are taking place at four Russian training grounds – in Khabarovsk, Ussuriysk, Blagoveshchensk, and Vladivostok.
