By the end of 2024, Ukraine will receive about 4-5 billion dollars to develop its own drone production. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in a conversation with journalists from Ukrainian television channels on Friday, October 18.
According to the head of state, Ukraine has allocated significant funds for the production of drones this year – 48 billion hryvnias from the budget of the State Special Communications Service, 50 billion hryvnias from the Ministry of Defense, as well as about 20 billion under the individual. programs, which is about 120 billion Hryvnia.
“In addition, we have agreed with the Nordic partners and have already received 750 million euros (30 billion hryvnias), so this is 150 billion for domestic production. We also have agreements for about 4-5 billion dollars, which we will receive for our own production before the end of this year, that is, it is about another 150-200 billion hryvnias, “said Zelensky.
