The North Korean military is already training in the Russian federation.
The occupiers are training soldiers from the DPRK to participate in the war against Ukraine. The exercises are taking place at four Russian training grounds – in Khabarovsk, Ussuriysk, Blagoveshchensk, and Vladivostok. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to sources in the special services.
Meanwhile, the Russian Telegram channel Astra published a photo with possible soldiers from North Korea at a Russian training ground in the Primorsky Territory.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, said that the aggressor country would send about 11 thousand North Korean troops to the war against Ukraine in November of this year. The GUR claimed that the first detachment of 2 thousand 600 soldiers would go to Kursk.
South Korean intelligence stated that North Korea would send 12 thousand troops to Ukraine.
Let us recall that Ukrainian military intelligence reported that a “special Buryat battalion” staffed by North Korean citizens is being formed on the basis of the 11th separate air assault brigade of the Russian occupation army. The estimated number of personnel of this battalion is about 3 thousand people.
