The conflict between Russia’s military leadership and the directors of defense plants increasingly excludes the possibility of sending new armored combat vehicles to the battle zone in Ukraine.
During the Russian-Ukrainian war, Ukraine’s defenders neutralized more than 40 percent of battle-ready tanks, infantry vehicles and armored personnel carriers of occupation units only from the Southern Military District of Russia. Their restoration must be carried out in specialized repair businesses. This was announced on July 3 by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Delivering broken equipment for repairing plants, the occupiers completely dismantled them, and sold spare parts and assemblies or exchanged them for alcohol. Sometimes only the burnt skeletons of infantry vehicles and tanks reach the factories.
At the same time, directors of repair businesses instructed employees not to accept equipment for repair. They are motivated by the lack of materials and insufficient amount of funds coming from the military for the work already done.
The command tried to save the situation with the help of specially created repair teams, which must return the equipment near the battle zones. However, corruption and greed among the military leadership of the Russian Federation thwarted this attempt.
Recall that an exhibition of burnt equipment of the occupiers was held in Kyiv, after which it was planned to bring to European cities.
