NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte assured that the plan will be considered in detail by the allies behind closed doors.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte commented on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s Succession Plan, noting that it is not currently supported by the Alliance. Radio Liberty reported this on Wednesday, October 16.
“There are many nuances that need to be worked out,” Rutte explained, adding that the plan will be reviewed in detail by the allies behind closed doors.
Rutte stressed that NATO is determined to continue supporting Ukraine, and that the plan proposed by Zelensky is a strong signal coming from the president himself. He also indicated that there may be differences of opinion on the details of the plan.
The first point presented by Zelensky provides for inviting Ukraine to NATO, which can significantly affect security and stability in the region.
We remind you that the Plan for Ukraine’s victory in the war against Russia consists of five points. It also has three secret attachments.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky announced common EU measures to force Russia to peace. He called on partners to “act to prevent Russia and its accomplices from adapting to our capabilities.”
In this regard, the Spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, said that the Ukrainian authorities are “wrong” that Russia can only be “forced into peace.”
