The TCC and SP of Kyiv commented on the raid after the Ocean Elzy concert.
The detention of citizens who violated the provisions of the Law was carried out by officers of the National Police of Ukraine. There were no conflict situations involving TCC military personnel, the press service noted to Ukrinform.
According to media reports, about fifty military personnel arrived. They began checking men en masse.
There are also reports of inspections by TCC representatives in restaurants in Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnepr and Khmelnitsky.
People’s Deputy Nikita Poturaev supported the verification of military documents after the “Ocean Elzy” concert in Kyiv
The head of the committee, which deals, in particular, with issues of culture and art, said that he does not consider such checks at this or other public events “a threat to Ukrainian culture.”
Just as I don’t consider document checks in bars or clubs a threat to the Ukrainian economy. Moreover, I welcome such checks, and I believe that they should be end-to-end and permanent. And everyone should know about it,” said Nikita Poturaev.
At the same time, people’s deputy from European Solidarity Nikolai Knyazhitsky partially criticized the actions of the TCC and the joint venture:
I understand when TCCs check documents in front of expensive restaurants and shops. I support this. There must be justice and equality in society. But mass raids at concerts of Ukrainian performers are disgusting, directed both against Ukrainian culture and against the Ukrainian army.
Against the background of the incident, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, the frontman of the group “OE”, did not say his attitude towards the detention of people, but thanked his listeners:
We are very grateful to the people for these 30 years. In particular, for the fact that they continue to come to support us now. For us it’s just joy and celebration. That’s all I have to say, my only comment. Dot.
At the same time, it became known that some began to resell their tickets for the next concerts of Okean Elzy: the first such advertisements on the Internet appeared a few hours after checks of men of military age who were at the concert.
People in military uniform and police on the evening of October 11 en masse checked the military registration documents of men at the Okean Elzy concert in Kyiv.
Meanwhile, in Dnepr, a conflict broke out between the general director of the company producing metal-plastic windows Steko, Sergei Polozhai, and representatives of the TCC and the joint venture.
A video appeared online in which the largest window manufacturer in Ukraine, Sergei Polozhay, while employees of the territorial acquisition center were checking his documents, insulted them and swore obscenely.
I’m healthy. Two of you or ten. And you will tell me how to behave, how to speak. I repeat once again, I am the general director, 2,760 people work, and you are a soldier – go dig, – shouts Put it on video, using obscene language.
