On the night of today, October 13, Russian invaders carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command.
The enemy attacked Ukraine:
- two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region of Russia and the occupied Crimea, launched into the Poltava and Odessa regions;
- two X-59 guided aircraft missiles in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, launched from the airspace of the Kursk region of Russia;
- 68 attack UAVs (launch areas – Russian Kursk and Orel).
Anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack, the Air Force noted.
As a result:
- during anti-aircraft combat, 31 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkassy regions;
- 36 Russian drones were locally lost in different regions of Ukraine, presumably as a result of active counteraction to electronic warfare. Information is being clarified;
- one UAV is in the air. Combat work continues.
